Let's face it: DIY YouTube videos and books can only teach you so much when it comes to photography. Whether you're a hobbyist hoping to fine tune your F-stops skills, an enthusiast interested in editing imagery or a mobile newbie who needs help with photos, the best way to learn is with interactive tutoring, with your camera in hand and someone to guide you.
This is a 6 week course with professional photographer Greg Wilson and one other assistant in the class. The course will help you amp up your technical skills, inspire your creativity and elevate your photography.   • Week 1 - January 27:  Introduction. The camera, sensor, lenses and your bag

  • Week 3 - February 10: Light & Exposure

The course runs for 6 weeks, every Wednesday night at 7:00 to 9:00pm starting from Wednesday January 27, 2021.

Who is Greg Wilson?
Greg has been on a photographic journey for four decades, contributing as a photographer, educator, mentor and gallery owner.
In his early days he worked with some of New Zealand’s greatest artists as part of his time with University of Otago’s Francis Hodgkins fellowship, including Jeffrey Harris, Andrew Drummond, Gretchen Albrecht, Ralph Hotere, Billy Apple, Peter Nicholls and Hone Tuwhare.
Greg’s photographic work has won him many awards both nationally and internationally, accumulating in being selected as a finalist in the Hasselblad Masters awards.
He has worked with postgraduate students from Duke, Florida State, Columbia and Berkeley Universities, and has lectured for the Australian, New Zealand and British Institutes of Professional Photography. He has served as the National President of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography.
